Heck’s Cafe is a place that everyone needs to go to. Whether you go on Sunday for their famous brunch, or a Tuesday night for their amazing burgers and fries. The light atmosphere, with wide windows and light interior adds a happy, airy vibe to the restaurant. The modern lights, the large plants, and the candles on the table add a very aesthetic touch.
If you stop by Heck’s I recommend sitting inside the sun room. It is filled with lots and lots of light. Glass garage doors and windows on every wall and side. This room brightens not only your food, but your day. Heck’s never fails to satisfy.
Brunch on Sundays has become more and more popular. People go after church, they go to meet a friend, or they go after they wake up to enjoy a slow morning. Brunch is the perfect time for breakfast lovers and lunch lovers to come together and be able to pick between lunch and breakfast without anyone batting an eye.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. The endless sweet and the salty options always satisfies my cravings.
This morning I was craving a salty meal. I decided to get the Ohio City Breakfast, a standard meal with eggs, toast, potatoes, sausage or bacon, and fruit. This meal was delicious. The potatoes were perfectly crispy, with a deliciously non-overpowering salty taste. The sourdough toast was toasted to perfection. Crispy edges, but not burnt. And, the eggs cooked perfectly, not dried out, but not too wet.
The food here is delicious and the environment is airy and comforting. If you’re free on a Sunday after church or wondering where to meet a friend, stop at Heck’s for their amazing brunch. Or on a Tuesday night, if you are wondering where to go with your family for a nice meal, head over to Heck’s for their delicious burgers and perfectly crispy fries.
